sunday walks

i really enjoyed this film. i loved the soft colours on some of the images and though some are not that soft, my opinion remains the same… it was a beautiful roll of film. and i bought two more!

maybe it was the light, it was naturally softer in some of the images. as a photographer, of course i know how light can influence the image, but as i’m trying harder this year to improve my skills in film photography, and with this comes getting to know my film cameras + try out different rolls of film, you need to give me time, specially to appreciate the results and understand what has worked!

what is your favourite film so far?

camera: yashica tl electro x
film: kodak ektar 100

  1. It depends, but Fuji Velvia rocks my world, colorwise. It’s vibrant, vivid and it just comes alive on the slide projector :)
For people, though, Kodak Portra 160 or Fuji 160C – lovely colors.
Black and white, Kodak T-max 3200. I just love the grain and the feel of the film.

You gotta get yourself a Canon A1 or a Nikon FA. You’ll fall in love! :)

    • well hello there!!! i need to try some velvia then!!! i saw a man last time buying 10 rolls of film and he had brought an album to share with the people on the lab, the one i have told you about! and i kind of thought that film should be good because that man sounded like he knew what he was talking about! and portra yes, i need to get my hands on those too, but as they only sell packages instead of one roll alone, i haven’t done it yet! and regarding the cameras, ok i need to get my hands on one of those!! i know the canon, but have no idea about that nikon, will check!!! thank you for visiting!!!
